Accessibility
We want Simply Streamers to be usable by as many people as possible. This page says where we are and how to tell us when we fall short.
1. What we aim for
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. We are not claiming full conformance, and we treat anything that blocks someone from buying or building an overlay as a bug worth fixing.
2. What the site already does
Every page starts with a skip link straight to the main content. Interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard and show a visible focus ring. Headings are in order, images carry text alternatives, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
3. Motion
The site honours the reduced motion setting in your operating system. When that is switched on, the moving previews and page transitions are cut back.
4. Where we know we fall short
The overlay previews are visual by nature, so what an overlay looks like on stream cannot be conveyed in text alone. The preview carousel can be dragged, and the arrow buttons beside it do the same job for anyone who cannot drag.
5. Overlays you create
Overlays render on your own stream rather than on this site, so their contrast, text size and motion are set by you. The settings panel exposes each of those so you can build something your own viewers can read.
6. Telling us about a problem
Email support@simplystreamers.com with the page and what went wrong and we will treat it as a bug. If something is blocking you from finishing a purchase, say so and we will help you complete it directly.
